The Hansgrohe S51 introduces the brand's premium SilicaTec granite composite material to the kitchen sink category — a material that delivers the visual depth and warmth of natural stone with the consistent quality, dimensional precision, and hygiene properties of an engineered product. The S51's distinctive colour palette — Concretegrey, Graphiteblack, and Stonegrey — is produced by dispersing mineral pigments uniformly through the SilicaTec matrix before moulding, ensuring colour consistency from the surface to the full 7 mm wall thickness. SilicaTec is a quartz-reinforced composite that achieves a surface hardness significantly greater than standard acrylic composite sinks, making the S51 resistant to scratching from knives, cutlery, and cleaning abrasives in everyday kitchen use. The non-porous surface prevents absorption of food dyes, coffee, and cooking oils — eliminating the staining problems that affect natural stone and some resin composites over time. The 7 mm wall thickness provides acoustic mass that dampens the water impact and cutlery noise that make thinner sinks objectionable in open-plan kitchen environments. Two cabinet configurations are available: the 60 cm model (bowl size 450) for standard single-sink kitchen installations, and the 80 cm model (bowl size 660) — listed under the name S51 S510-F660 Built-in Sink 660 — for larger kitchen layouts.
